Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS)
Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) is a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) programme that requires air cargo data to be sent before the cargo is loaded at the last foreign airport.
CBP uses it to spot high-risk shipments and can ask for more information, extra screening or a do-not-load hold.
