Keep airlines running, on the floor
Operations is the team an airline actually deals with once it is live on Belli. You learn the software, then you teach it to ground staff, sit with them while they use it and fix what gets in their way.
Based in the Philippines. Full-time, on-site, starting remote for the first month. Rolling start. You need fluent English, because every airline conversation happens in it.
What the work is
Airlines do not adopt a new cargo system because the software is good. They adopt it because someone stood in their warehouse and made it work on a live shift. That someone is this team.
A lot of the job is teaching. Ground handlers, acceptance clerks and cargo controllers have run the old system for years and they are busy. You run the training, then stay on the floor while the first real flights close, which is when you find out which part of the process nobody mentioned in the meeting.
The places are not glamorous. Cargo terminals are hot and loud and flights do not move for anybody. That is also where every good idea on our roadmap has come from.

What we look for
No aviation background needed. We teach cargo to everyone who joins.
Must have
Tech-savvy and fluent English. That is the whole requirement and it is meant literally: we care that you pick up an unfamiliar tool quickly and can explain it to somebody who does not want to learn it.
Nice to have
- Claude
- Excel
- Python
- n8n
- v0
Every one of those is something the team uses weekly to automate work that would otherwise be manual. Nobody will ask you to use them a particular way.
How hiring works
Three calls on Google Meet, so test your microphone and camera beforehand. If the feedback is positive you normally hear from us inside two weeks.
- 01Personal fit30 minutes
Your motivation and some situational questions. We are working out whether the way we run things suits you.
- 02Technical30 minutes
With one of our hiring managers, who will be from the team you would join. Stay calm and show us something you are proud of.
- 03Founder30 to 60 minutes
The last step is with a founder, who will go through what is next on the roadmap and where your skills would fit on it.
The one thing to prepare
Be ready to share your screen and walk us through the project you are most proud of. If it is current and the contents are sensitive, take a copy first and randomise the contact details and any real numbers. There is nothing else to prepare.
After the interviews
Not a back office
The team here works on live airline accounts, not on tickets passed down from somewhere else. Kirk flew to Singapore for his onboarding after his first month and has since worked on-site with Lion Air in Indonesia. Joemar has worked from the team house in Malaysia. Sophia was onboarded in Malaysia.
Travel depends on which airline needs someone and it comes up sooner than most people expect. If you would rather stay put, say so early and that is fine.
